How the quote is calculated

The calculator multiplies your base price by the quantity or project size, applies the complexity multiplier, then adds any selected add-ons. A discount is subtracted from the subtotal, and tax is applied to the discounted amount:

Estimated price = Base price × Quantity × Complexity
Subtotal = Estimated price + Add-ons
Discount = Subtotal × Discount rate
Tax = (Subtotal − Discount) × Tax rate
Final quote = Subtotal − Discount + Tax

Example quote

A web designer quoting a 5-page site at $300 per page with a rush delivery add-on and a 10% returning-client discount:

Base: $300 × 5 pages = $1,500.00
Rush delivery: + $100.00
Subtotal: $1,600.00
Discount (10%): − $160.00
Tax (8%): + $115.20
Final quote: $1,555.20
